Great value, some things to be aware of.

Liked:The staff was generally nice (a guy offered fresh coconuts several days!), the pool was nice and not overrun at all, the closeness to the ridiculously nice beach with a pretty calm stone-protected pool (via entirely new boardwalk through amazing mangrove) was amazing, and even though we booked the cheaper room type, the parking lot was partially shielded from us with trees and bushes.

Disliked:The room was barren - not much decoration or cozy lightning. A lot of small ants crawled in; we asked for treatment against them once, but it only lasted a few days. The adjacent rooms' sliding doors can be heard loudly. The people above us complained about us to the reception and the staff at work didn't ask for our version of events first before posting a kind of accusatory note. Another staff did later apologise to us for the approach though! We needed medical assistance during the stay, but none of the emergency numbers provided by the hotel was answered at 22:00 in the evening! We only got a response next day around 11!

Liked:Spacious room, comfy bed, nice pool and very nice terrace where they serve breakfast. Staff was very nice and friendly, breakfast was good, but almost the same every day. Very nice surroundings, quiet and peaceful.

Disliked:No bathroom amenities apart from hand soap, no room cleaning during your stay and for the clean towels and toilet paper you have to go to the reception to change them. Wish they had mosquito net. Bad wifi at times.

Peaceful, very close to beaches but not restaurants. Pleasant stay.

Liked:Access to beaches via boardwalk through mangrove. Can walk along beaches in both directions, about 15-30 mins to beach restaurants. Peaceful location. Pool is fabulous and lovely gardens. Clean apartment. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff, great reception with books and guides, and use of snorkelling gear.

Disliked:Ideally need a car as supermarket is along busy road, and restaurants hard to get to. Apartment is functional but lacks charm. Could do with a sofa/chairs inside, there is room. Balcony is ok, but our view of car park not especially inspiring. Shower is tiny so end up sticking to curtain kitchen has most of what you need to make simple dinner but lacks work surfaces and could do with a few sharp knives.

Liked:Le petit studio que j’avais louée était infesté de moustiques. J’ai demandé à deux reprises d’être déplacé dans un autre endroit, mais la réception a toujours refusé prétextant que c’était complet alors que plusieurs chambres demeuraient inoccupés. J’ai également été déçu des installations, aucun savon à vaisselle ou produits ménagers de disponible. Je devais également fournir le papier hygiénique ainsi que les sacs de poubelle. La douche n’est pas conçu pour une personne de taille forte puisque j’étais moi-même constamment collé au rideau et arrivait difficile à être mobile. La qualité du matelas et des oreillers laissaient également à désirer. Prix excessivement élevé pour un endroit comme celui ci. Point fort: la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel.
