Unacceptable

Liked:Nothing. I did not stay in the property.

Disliked:I arrived at the guesthouse following the instructions provided. Unfortunately, the situation I encountered was completely different from what I had expected based on your message. When I arrived, no outside light was switched on, and the area was very dark. After entering through the green door, the first room I came across was also dark and appeared to contain a bed or table with some bedding or bed covers on it. There was no clear indication that the guesthouse had been properly prepared for my arrival or where exactly I was supposed to go. Given the darkness, the unlocked entrance, and the overall condition and lack of clear guidance upon arrival, I felt extremely uncomfortable and, most importantly, unsafe. Under these circumstances, I did not consider it acceptable to stay at the property. For this reason, I left the premises and requested cancellation of my reservation that was declined.

Liked:I booked at the 3 Bears Inn. I was emailed before my stay and told to make sure to strip my beds before I check out, take them out to the laundry hampers, take my trash outside to the dumpsters, after having breakfast I was too wash my own dishes, dry them and put them away, I was also told I would have a basement room with a shared bathroom. I want going on vacation to be a housekeeper. I was appalled. Needless to say I booked worth another hotel. The customer service was horrible. I was not refunded.

Misleading Description, Unsanitary Conditions, and No Refund

Disliked:There was very poor communication. There were people living on the property, and the accommodation consisted of only one room with three beds, even though we had been told there would be five. The owners’ children, their son and daughter, were also there. There was no parking available. They also had cats, which was never disclosed to us, and one person in our group was allergic to cats. The smell of cats inside was extremely strong, and the place smelled very dirty and unsanitary. We requested a refund, but they refused. We did not stay there at all. We simply arrived, noticed the strong odor and the unacceptable conditions, and decided to leave immediately. Despite not staying at the property, we were not refunded. I believe the owners should be much more transparent and honest about what they are actually offering. Guests deserve accurate information about the accommodations, the number of beds, the presence of pets, and the living arrangements before making a reservation.

More than a hotel it’s an experience

Liked:One of the most unique places you will ever stay. Only possible in Mormon culture. You’re with other guests and with the family, and the feeling is like you’re just hanging out with the family. Beautiful facility and it was really a great experience. I totally recommend this to anyone as an experience. This is not just a place you stay at a place you live and will always remember.
