Liked:Hotel Baren is situated in an excellet location within 15 minutes to the center of Lucern either by bus or train. The bus station is right across the street and the train station is just a seam minute walk. The breakfast service provides an arrange of options for different dietary needs. If you wish to eat at the hotel's restaurant the food is fresh, traditional and delicious. There is a grocery store around the corner where you can get anything you need including toiletries and ready meals. Beautiful shops near by. If you enjoy the outdoors, there are some beautiful trails to explore for as short as a mile or as long as taking you a a different city.

Disliked:It can be dark in the hallways at night.

Great property

Liked:The room was clean and the location was perfect to reach Luzern. The train station is 5 minutes and the bus stop is practically outside the hotel. The hotel provides a visitor card that covers the transportation within zone 10.

Disliked:The blinds on the window could have been darker. My kid got insect bites at night. The ventilation could have been better.

Liked:Very good hotel restaurant, good breakfasts, very nice and friendly hotel personel Definitely worth recommending

Disliked:No air conditioning and when you open the window it is noisy because hotel is located near main road but luckily there was a fan and windows are very good blocking all the noise
