Trully like a stay at friend's house

Liked:The house is amazing. Spacious, in calm neighbourhood but at the same time - almost in the center of the island, even the furthest POI could be reached within 30-40 minutes (by car). Nice yard to enjoy morning coffee, big balcony with ocean view. Well equiped kitchen. The appliances were not shiny new, but everything worked fine. TV has lots of channels. The host left to us nice little things I really appreciate - like some tea, sugar, coffee capsules, few bottles of beer and so on. Overall experience is "an appartment SHARING like it supposed to be" - I've felt more like staying in friend's or my loving uncle's house. Oh, some of comments mentioned cocroaches, but I wasn't lucky enough to meet them. On the contrary - I was more surprised about the lack of insects - no flies, no mosquitos, even the fruit flies did not bother us.

Wonderful stay – comfortable and well-equipped home

Liked:We had a wonderful stay at Friends'House – the house is incredibly comfortable and perfectly equipped for a visit to the Azores. It has private parking, two lovely terraces, and a stunning view of the ocean. The host has truly thought of everything: from umbrellas and raincoats to trekking poles, making it easy to enjoy the island in any weather. The kitchen had all we needed, and we were warmly welcomed with basic groceries for our first breakfast. Every detail was carefully prepared to make our stay pleasant and easy. We sincerely thank and warmly greet Jorge– your hospitality made our stay extra special!

Superb

Liked:Host was very friendly, even though he didn't speak a lot of English. He even came over to help us when we thought the oven was on (which it wasn't hah). Host also left us complimentary bread and several other snacks/beverages, which was very nice. Full kitchen and fridge Parking available Wifi worked well downstairs

Disliked:Several of the sliding windows didn't lock, which left us uneasy (though, it is a very safe town) Wifi didn't work well upstairs
