Good Location Parking Spot Off Street

Liked:That you had off street parking abd the location was good, in a decent neighborhood. The place was mostly clean.

Disliked:The walls are super thin and I could hear the conversations of the inside neighbors. The water heater had moisture understand so there was wall particles all over the floor not swept up.

Not too bad after all. The swimming pool a big plus for us, the lack of internet a big minus

Liked:Nice apartment. Very nice garden. Well maintained pool. Quiet place. Clean. Kitchen well equipped and everything was working well. Air working very well and not noisy. TV not big but working well. Nice big terrace. Parking available at no extra cost. Pretty good location, about 1 min away from the highway and with a big grocery store (a supermercado named "Continente") about 5 minutes away by car (this one also close to the highway. We served every morning expresso and sometimes the breakfast over there. Continente has also spaghetti drainer for sale for 2.5 Euros, cheap napkins, etc.

Disliked:Zero internet in the apartment. The technician came and left without fixing the problem. More than 6 days and and 6 nights without any internet in the place rented. The parking place assigned to our apartment was always taken by someone arriving in the evening before us. The manager told us to find another place and use it. We had to leave the car one night in one place, another night in another parking place, fortunately not too far away. The window of the washroom doesn't open. The apartment had one more washroom and one more room at the second floor but it was locked. The manager (Gracia) accepted for no extra cost to open and prepare the room as well as the second washroom with an opening window. None of them had any ventilation system. Otherwise all the facilities worked well. If I recommend the place? Hard to say. You've got some details. You need to decide for yourself if you will go there or not. I intend to go back to the island, but I will probably try also to look for another place to stay, just to be able to compare. As a place to stay during vacation on the island, I think that Lagoa is better than Ponta Delgada.

Disliked:Cockroaches, broken toilet seats (where finally repaired in the end), water dropping through the ceiling from the bath room upstairs. Side entrance to the property broken.

Liked:The apartment and the grounds were very quiet and clean.

Disliked:The kitchen wasn’t particularly well equipped. There were no drinking glasses or wine glasses. The paint was peeling off the walls in the corners of the bedroom and living room.
