It was okey for the price of such a big room in Rome

Liked:The penthouse is nice but need to be refreshed and maybe a little more plants would have lifted the place a lot… it’s 60m2 so there is plenty of space

Very disappointing experience and security problems

Liked:We had a very disappointing and concerning experience at this hotel. During our stay, money was repeatedly taken from our room in three separate incidents: €20 from the desk, €50 from inside a wallet, and €5 from inside a suitcase (which we intentionally left as a test). The pattern clearly indicates unauthorized access to the room, most likely during housekeeping. We reported the issue to the management, contacted the police, and filed an official complaint. Despite the seriousness of the situation, the hotel’s response was inadequate. They merely offered to waive €77 of minibar/consumption charges and stated that they would investigate further in cooperation with the police before considering any additional compensation. This approach in no way reflects the extent of the distress, disruption, and loss of security we experienced during our stay. Beyond the security issue, the room itself was not at all as advertised. The furniture was very old (at least 20 years) and visibly worn, and the carpets were stained and dirty. This was far from the standard shown in the online photos. Overall, this was not just a matter of comfort, but of trust and safety. We expected a basic level of security and accuracy in what was offered, and unfortunately, both were lacking. We hope the management takes full responsibility and takes immediate corrective actions.
