Overall I would recommend the hotel - the location is excellent and the rooms comfortable.

Liked:The location is excellent, the room conformable, and the breakfast decent. The staff is friendly, and I really liked the seating room for guests use.

Disliked:The hotel advertise a shuttle service to the airport - but we discovered that they do not take responsibility for it. The staff also did not warn us that we need cash because paying with a credit card carries a 7% penalty, they just said that we can pay with either. In short better to call an Uber or a taxi and pay 55 euro instead of 70.

It was lovely until we checked out and were charged for a night that we were not there.

Liked:The location is fantastic. I stayed in this beautiful boutique hotel in 2024 on my first visit to Rome. The staff in 2024 were so helpful and kind especially Francesca. The rooms are stylish and beautiful. The buffet in the morning was spectacular and with a lot of variety. Could not have said more about that visit. So we returned… We booked our stay for two nights but unfortunately because of President Trump flying into Newark airport where we were leaving the states to go to Rome, the airport was closed, and my flight was canceled because of that. I was in touch with the hotel because they were providing us the ground transportation from the airport to the hotel… I was hourly letting them know about our delays and they were responsive when we checked out after our lovely stay we were charged for two nights when we only stayed there once since we could not get a flight until the next day. The manager was unrelenting with the cancellation policy. He said you need to cancel within 48 hours. This is no fault of hours. I was charged for a night stay, which I was not there for I was furious as you can imagine. I did everything that I could do in my power to let them know our struggles flying from the states. He stuck with the 48 hour cancellation policy and charged us the full price. I will never return there. Shame on you hotel DeMaso for not working with return customers to do the right thing.

Disliked:I did not like the manager who insisted on charging us for the night that we were not there out of our control. He did not care that we were return customers it was though they were desperate for the money he stuck to the 48 hour policy of cancellation and would not budge. I will never return there.
