Small, modern, boutique hotel, walking distance to the Colosseum

Liked:Newly refurbished hotel, walking distance between the Colosseum & Termini with really helpful, friendly staff. Great sized rooms too!

Disliked:The area itself is not a great area however we chose here specifically, so we could walk to pick up our hire car. The hotel itself was faultless.

Liked:The hotel is very clean, and have free water Staff was very nice and helpful

Disliked:You can hear everything from the room - all the noise from the street and the hotel. Also the AC was leaking on the bed

Disliked:Our stay was severely impacted by the hotel's handling of a serious issue that should never have been dismissed the way it was. During our first night, the air conditioning in our room stopped working completely. The room became unbearably hot, making it virtually impossible to sleep. My pregnant partner lost an entire night's sleep despite air conditioning being one of the amenities we specifically paid for when booking the room. We reported the problem immediately during the night and provided photographic evidence showing that the unit was switched on but not functioning. Rather than taking responsibility for the inconvenience, the hotel repeatedly attempted to suggest that we may have accidentally changed a setting ourselves. This was particularly frustrating given that the issue was clearly reported while it was occurring. The hotel's reasoning for rejecting compensation was equally disappointing. They argued that the air conditioning had worked earlier in the day, as if that somehow changed the fact that it failed during the night when we needed it most. A service cannot be considered delivered simply because it functioned for part of the day. What makes the situation even worse is that there was no clear information in the room about how guests should obtain assistance during the night. Reception was closed, and no emergency contact information was available in the room. We only had a WhatsApp number because it had been mentioned briefly at check-in. When this deficiency was pointed out, the hotel eventually admitted that their procedures needed to be changed. After an entire sleepless night caused by a failure of a paid hotel amenity, the only compensation offered was breakfast for one morning. More disappointing, however, was the attitude shown throughout the complaint process.
