Beautiful interiors, but severely lacking in hospitality, management, and value

Liked:The decor was visually appealing and tasteful. Instead of the typical heavy, overly decorated Tuscan style with overwhelming colors, the aesthetic was much lighter and featured beautiful hand-painted walls.

Disliked:Despite the nice design, the stay felt completely careless and devoid of warmth. The check-in experience was unacceptable; the staff member barely greeted us or spoke. While language barriers exist, basic welcoming hospitality is essential for international guests. We were given no tour of the property and only discovered an on-site restaurant by accident after three days. Staff turned over daily with no consistency, and almost no one spoke basic English. Only one staff member showed any genuine Italian warmth. The room details reinforced this lack of care: In-room information: Cheap, laminated paper filled with rules and restrictions rather than welcoming notes, accompanied by non-functioning QR codes. Amenities: Bare minimum (just soap and shower gel). A half-empty amenity box from a completely different hotel was left in the bathroom and never restocked. Housekeeping: Sloppy. The flimsy, worn door sign didn't hang properly, and when we finally got it to stay on "Do Not Disturb," housekeeping ignored it entirely while we were in work meetings. Fresh towels were tossed randomly instead of being hung. Privacy is minimal. The property is quite small yet crowded, meaning tables at the bistro and loungers at the pool are packed tightly together, leaving no personal space. Pictures and the use of "resort" in the name are misleading—this is a small guesthouse, not a professional resort. Given the mediocre, overpriced restaurant and the overall lack of service quality, the price tag is completely unjustified.

Liked:The restaurant and outdoor pool is lovely

Disliked:For a “4 star” hotel , the property was not up to that level. It is very dated inside and although clean, felt very humid and damp when we arrived. The closets smelled old and the room didn’t have a pleasant smell. I think the property itself needs a revamp as it was definately not upto the 4 star level. Breakfast was also very average.
