An Absolute Oasis in the Heart of Alentejo

Liked:We went on a weekend getaway for our 2nd wedding anniversary and loved absolutely everything about our stay! The room was cozy, clean and had all the necessary amenities. D. Joana did our check in and was absolutely lovely, explaining to us all the activities ongoing in the vicinity. The pool was amazing, perfect to cool off from the Alentejo peak summer weather! And the breakfast was divine, a full continental spread (bread, cheeses, jams, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit) topped up with freshly squeezed orange juice and homemade cake 🫶🏼 the area is super peaceful and surrounded by vineyards, with easy access to town, making it a true gem for relaxation and feeling connected to nature. We will definitely go back as soon as we can!

Tranquil and Comfortable Place Near Monsaraz

Liked:The slower pace, peacefulness, and beautiful countryside was exactly what I was seeking, after having been on the go through Porto, Lisbon, and other parts of Portugal. My room and bathroom were spotless, the bed was made up beautifully, and I had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and hot water was plentiful. Rita was welcoming and helpful; she let me do my laundry and even ironed a shirt for me! her homemade bread at breakfast was delicious! The pool also looked very inviting but it was still too cold to get in the water when I was there. I liked the convenience of being able to drive to nearby Monsaraz, while still having plenty of time to chill out in my room and on the property.

Disliked:That I had to rent a car in Evora to get there.
