I will definitely stay at this wonderful place again. This was my 2nd time.

Liked:Early check in was offered without any problem. That is 180 degrees from La Quinta in Visalia the night before where my wife and I had to wait an hour to receive room keys. This Best Western Hilltop in Redding has outstanding personnel who were welcoming and very helpful for us two 80 year olds. I highly reccommend this as an excellent place to stay. Not only that, the restaurant in the same building, Gibbs, is a five star eatery. The dinner was one of the best meals I've ever had and the breakfast was superb.

Disliked:A little noisy from the Interstate 5 traffic, but not bad.

Disliked:Not a warm welcome greeting at check in, + d/n offer restaurant (CR Gibbs) specials or the booklet re reason we were there: Redding, Ca "koolAprilNites". Room 204 was west side at far back next to freeway, NOISY. Room was spartan thou had been Some- what updated.Shower over tub. Older RCA tv. No premium channels.Sat. nite 9 p.m. no sleep due to Loud Partiers (drunks) parading past and around room. 11:30 p.m. front desk did send security on my request. lastly I resent the price gouging of the rate because of the demand for the event, raised prices after booking apprx 30% per nite. If the increase is due to demand why don't ALL businesses raise ALL their prices too ? "Free' breakfast was so so.
