I never saw any staff. It is a working farm and it was nice to have the whole guest house to myself.

Liked:I had the property to myself as there were no other guests at the time.

Disliked:It was a little dirty in places eg cutlery drawer and kettle.

Simply perfect!

Liked:Beautiful property with all that you could possibly need or want. Tough drive in snow from Höfn, was rewarded with a stay in this gorgeous property. Really comfortable bed, gorgeously decorated room. Simply perfect.

Disliked:Absolutely nothing!

Decent accommodation, and convenient access to ring road.

Liked:It was just a room with 2 double beds and an attached bathroom for a family of 4. There is a glass door that opens into the larger common area. Looks like an ideal spot for northern lights viewing assuming all other conditions are met.

Disliked:Privacy is a consideration one should look into. The common kitchen facilities are open only between certain hours and may not fit in well with your travel plans. The door didn’t lock, and even though Iceland is considered a safe place, I’m not sure I would like to leave my room unlocked and head out for tourist activities.
