Liked:Our second stay at The Standard, Maldives was every bit as special as we remembered, and we are leaving once again with the certainty that it will not be our last. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. The service throughout our stay was excellent, always warm, attentive and professional, while still maintaining the relaxed atmosphere that makes this resort such a special place. We would particularly like to thank Hasan, who looked after us every morning at breakfast. His kindness, wonderful attitude and constant smile were such a lovely way to start each day. He was always attentive, cheerful and genuinely welcoming, and his service made our breakfasts even more enjoyable. A very special thank you also goes to Shahadhath, who took care of our room throughout our stay. He was incredibly attentive to every detail, while always being discreet, polite and respectful. Everything was taken care of perfectly, and his thoughtful service made us feel completely comfortable throughout our stay. We would also like to sincerely thank Zainu for his professionalism and dedication. He went out of his way to make sure everything during our stay was impeccable, and we truly appreciated his attention and willingness to help whenever needed. Returning to a hotel for a second time always comes with high expectations, especially when the first experience was so memorable. The Standard managed to make us fall in love with this place all over again. Thank you to the entire team for another wonderful stay. We are already looking forward to coming back for a third time.

A dream vacation made even better by Poula!

Liked:We had an absolutely exceptional stay at The Standard in the Maldives! Everything exceeded our expectations!.The resort is stunning, the overwater villa is breathtaking, the food was delicious, and there were so many activities to enjoy. Every member of the team was welcoming. A very special thank you to Poula, who was an amazing host throughout our stay. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. His warmth and genuine care made our holiday even more memorable. We left with wonderful memories and can't wait to return. We would highly recommend this beautiful resort.

The property is reachable via seaplane or Domestic flight and Speed Boat. Please share your arrival and departure flight details with the property at least four days before your arrival. Transfer time restrictions: Seaplanes in the Maldives only operate during daylight hours. Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in or making the payment at the hotel. Due to safety and privacy concerns, the operation of unmanned aerial systems or drones by any of the guests including model aircraft by recreational users and hobbyists is prohibited. AIRPORT TRANSFER DETAILS (excluded from room rate): Please note that the resort is accessible by the following mode of transfer and the full arrival and departure flight details should be received at least 4 days prior to the arrival date to ensure a smooth confirmed transfer. Roundtrip Seaplane Transfer Rates: USD 495 per adult (12 years and above), USD 297 per kid (2 to 11.99 years): Infant (below 2 years): Complimentary. Roundtrip Domestic Transfer Rates: USD 450 per adult (12 years and above), USD350 per kid (from 2 years to below 12yrs), infant (below 2 years): Complimentary. For same-day seaplane transfers: • International flights should arrive at Velana International Airport no later than 3:30 pm. • Departure flights from Malé should be scheduled no earlier than 9:10 am. • If your international flights are arriving or departing outside the specified hours mentioned above, we recommend you to book a city hotel room in Male or Hulhumale for overnight stay. Upon arrival, a representative will greet you and assist with the check-in process at the Trans Maldivian Airways counter for your seaplane transfer. • Baggage restrictions: 20 kg per person for checked luggage and 5 kg per person for hand luggage.
