Liked:Can tolerate cheap toilet paper & bath mirror for midgets. No hot water or shower. Cold eggs for breakfast. Only good was sound of ocean to fall asleep. Worst value hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Liked:They don’t have showers in their rooms. My husband didn’t like the tub so they put us in a room that was basically a large closet with no windows. Supposedly that was the only room available with a shower that worked. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room either along with NO hot water for that shower. They eventually moved us back to a larger room with a shower and working Wi-Fi. Honestly, you can skip the whole Puntarenas peninsula. The beaches and roads were filthy!

Liked:The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The building is older, and maintenance has not been kept up. I got approached by a man drinking a beer, and begging for money, as soon as I walked out the hotel door. There is a police station, at the other end of the block. It was in a dirty area of town. The beach was across the street, but I wouldn’t recommend going there after dark. The free breakfast was delicious.
