Great simple place for a family beach vacation. Safe and affordable.

Liked:We stayed here with our children and it was exactly what we needed. Apartments Costambar is a simple, no-frills property, but it is clean and located in a very safe, quiet gated area. The location is perfect—just a 1-minute walk to the beach, and there is a nice pool on-site which the kids loved. We were very happy with the comfort: the beds were comfortable, and the bedroom AC worked great. The updated Wi-Fi was fast and stable during our whole stay, which was a huge plus for us. The kitchen has a basic set of tools for cooking simple family meals. For this price, having 24-hour electricity and such a safe location is excellent value. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Disliked:It’s a budget-friendly, simple place, so don't expect luxury extras, but everything is clean and works perfectly.

A simple, relaxing place near the beach with a great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Liked:The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we expected for the price. Yes, the furniture is more simple than in a luxury resort, but everything worked properly and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The location is the best part — the beach is literally a short walk away, and the area feels peaceful and safe. We especially loved the pool and the relaxed atmosphere around the property. The bed was comfortable for us, the hot water worked perfectly, and the air conditioner in the bedroom cooled well at night. What really made the difference was the staff and communication. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and easy to reach whenever we needed something. If you are looking for an affordable, quiet place near the beach in Costambar, this is a very good option. We would stay again.

Do not go there. I had the worse hotel experience at Costambar.

Liked:The only things I liked about the property was that it is literally located 2 minutes walking distance away from the beautiful beach and the hot water heater was working perfectly.

Disliked:I didn’t like the following: The Living room couch and chairs w were very stinky and old, all the curtains were old and stinky as well. The apartment only had one small air conditioner in the bedroom. The rest of the apartment was very hot, with just a fan in the living room that didn’t move the air. The stove top in the kitchen had a broken burner and the gas supplied was very minimal. Cooking anything took hours to make. They only provided one small pot and one small frying pan for cooking. The toaster oven was very rusty and old and dirty looking. The kitchen and bathroom faucets are so old, I was shocked that they’re still working. Everything was very dated. The bed was a full size. That is the only size they have in the entire property. It’s too small for a couple. Asides from that the mattress coils were hurting my ribs and thighs and my husband could not sleep on the stinky sofa so he slept on the living floor since the full size bed was so uncomfortable. The bed sheets were paper thin, and the pillows were very flat and stinky. We were on the third floor and there’s no elevator.

The best part for us was Wi-Fi—it’s actually fast and reliable now. The kitchen has the basic tools you need to cook simple meals, and the beds are quite comfortable with fresh linens. It’s located in a quiet, gated area, which felt safe for the kids. If you need a decent, affordable place to stay without paying for unnecessary extras, this is a good choice. Fair price for what you get.
