Ritz to the Rescue!

Liked:We originally stayed at a neighboring property, but they made us sick by not paying attention to our food allergies or our down-feather allergies, despite communicating this several times. My mother wanted to leave the island completely, but on arrival I saw the Ritz-Carlton next door so I said we should try there. We usually stay at the Ritz in Grand Cayman, so we are familiar with the brand. Well, this Ritz not only provided us with Dubai or Mauritius level service, but this Ritz literally saved our vacation. I am writing this review on the plane ride home because I am so grateful for the service they provided us. I rarely write reviews anymore but this resort more than earned it. Brandy, the Housekeeping Manager, ensured that all our needs were met on arrival, including a feather free room. The room was not only safe for us but ready early! Noelia, the General Manager, made sure that everything was taken care of for us. The property and our room were gorgeous, well-maintained, and clean. The beach on the resort is perfect. I saw two stingrays in the ocean right in front of the hotel, and it’s a beautiful beach. The food was a true highlight for us. We have many severe food allergies and we generally expect to neither not eat well, or to get constantly sick. Not at this Ritz. I want to thank Edson, the head chef, for meeting with us as soon as we got on property and reassuring us that our experience here would be different. It absolutely was. We went from a nightmare to a pure dream. Chefs Evanson, Freddi, and Moorthi constantly checked in on us daily and even made custom meals for us. Thank you for the amazing pumpkin soup, freshest mangos, and cheese sandwiches. Elton (amazing memory!) and Kendra (she always gave us our favorite table) were also wonderful hosts at Coralli for breakfast and lunch. A big thank you to MJ and Wilnardo for doing an express clean-up job of a giant conch shell that I had given up hope on. They saw me about to return it to the beach after someone else failed to clean it properly, and they rushed to take care of it the night before we left. The spa was amazing. I highly recommend Janice and Armini for massages. Breakfasts were true feasts which is rare for us to experience. Some of our favorite meals we have ever eaten period were lovingly handcrafted by Chef Freddi, who made us feel like family the first night we arrived. Most hotel properties generally try to accommodate our dietary needs but then as each day passes more and more slip-ups occur, if they even try at all. But this Ritz-Carlton is a stellar resort, and each day only got better. Thank you again to Noelia, for treating us to a pool cabana, massages, and for gifting us a Ritz Lion for my niece back home. Thank you to Chef Freddi and Chef Moorthi for treating us to our final farewell dinner at Casa Nonna. We are Italian New Yorkers and this was some of the best Italian food we have ever eaten. Thank you for our complimentary mocktails from Michael at the bar. And thank you to Chef Edson for ensuring that even our in-room dining was customized and catered to our needs. (A first!) We will surely miss the level of service that we just experienced at the Ritz Carlton Grace Bay. Chef Moorthi and Noelia even walked us to our taxi when we left, and gifted us custom boxed lunches. I rarely eat that well on a plane, I was so thankful to not be starving like I usually am. What a Ritzy difference! Thank you for literally saving our mother-daughter girl’s trip! We will be back!

Exceptional Food, Even Better Hospitality at the Club Lounge

Liked:The culinary team in the Club Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos was absolutely outstanding. Every day, the food was fresh, beautifully presented, and genuinely delicious. There was always something new to try, and you could tell how much thought and care went into every offering. A very special shout-out to Raheam and Wylie, whose warm hospitality made us feel so welcome every time we walked into the lounge. They truly made our experience special. And a huge thank you to Edson and Rica, who went above and beyond for us with the fish sandwich! They were spectacular! It’s those personal touches and willingness to do something extra for a guest that make you remember a stay long after the vacation is over. The entire Club Lounge team made our experience exceptional. The food was wonderful, but it was the people and the genuine hospitality that really stood out. They are a perfect example of what makes Ritz-Carlton service so special. We can’t wait to come back!

Extremely Disappointing Experience — Not the Ritz-Carlton Standard

Liked:Extremely Disappointing Experience — Not the Ritz-Carlton Standard ⭐️⭐️ We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos from August 20–23, 2026 (Confirmation #88475035) to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Unfortunately, what should have been a memorable luxury getaway turned into an extremely disappointing experience. I am an experienced traveler and have stayed at numerous Ritz-Carlton properties around the world, including The Ritz-Carlton Maldives as recently as this past January. I am therefore very familiar with the level of service and attention to detail that the Ritz-Carlton brand represents. Sadly, the Turks & Caicos property fell far short of those standards. Several issues stood out: • Breakfast: The breakfast buffet had an extremely limited selection and did not feel remotely consistent with a five-star luxury resort. More concerning was the attitude of the waitstaff, which made us feel as though requesting basic service was an inconvenience rather than part of the hospitality experience. • Pool service: Pool service was practically nonexistent. At one point, I had to set up and open our own pool umbrella—something I certainly did not expect to have to do at a Ritz-Carlton. We also witnessed several other guests openly complaining about the lack of service around the pool. • A 45+ minute delay that ruined my wife’s birthday plans: This was particularly frustrating. We requested a hairdryer, which should have already been provided in the room as a basic amenity. It took more than 45 minutes to arrive. That delay meant my wife could not get ready and dry her hair in time, causing us to miss a special dinner reservation we had made for her birthday. What was supposed to be a special celebration was instead overshadowed by frustration and disappointment. We paid a premium price specifically for a luxury experience and the level of service associated with the Ritz-Carlton name. Instead, we encountered repeated and seemingly systemic service failures. The most disappointing aspect is that these were not isolated minor inconveniences. They involved basic hospitality and service expectations that should be fundamental at a property carrying the Ritz-Carlton name. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the underlying service issues. Based on our experience, however, this property did not deliver the standard we have come to expect from Ritz-Carlton, and unfortunately, our wife’s birthday celebration was significantly impacted as a result.

Wonderful stay at the Ritz Carlton

Liked:We had such a wonderful experience at The Ritz-Carlton, Turks & Caicos. The stunning setting, beautiful resort, and outstanding hospitality made our time there incredibly enjoyable from beginning to end. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy everything Turks & Caicos has to offer. We would especially like to recognize Mr. Richie Bersabe for making our visit so memorable. His warm personality, professionalism, and thoughtful approach to hospitality truly stood out. He always made us feel welcome and took the extra time to ensure that everything during our stay was just right. His genuine care and dedication made a lasting impression on us.
