Absolutely amazing!

Liked:The 1 hotel Hanalei Bay is the best resort we have ever been too. The service and atmosphere is unrivalled. Kaiona made our stay even better than imagined. Kaiona and his fellow team members are what set the 1 hotel Hanalei Bay apart from any other resort.

Very disappointing! Only good to snap a few photos for Instagram, otherwise stay away

Liked:Very nice views

Disliked:Terrible food (welina terrace, 1 kitchen, neighbors cafe), bad service (incl. room service, restaurant staff, gym staff), bad beach (all coral reefy, not much area to swim), noisy A/C in the room. On top of that, very overpriced!

One of the most beautiful places on earth

Liked:The 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay is a beautiful hotel located in one of the most extraordinary places on earth. Its views of Hanalei Bay and the Na Pali coast are breathtaking, and you get to experience them in virtually every room and while dining at the resort’s two main dining areas. From our room, we watched surfers in Hanalei Bay, the light shifting over the Na Pali coast and whales breaching in the ocean below. Breakfast was amazing (perhaps the best breakfast buffet we have ever had), as was the New Year’s buffet dinner and dining on creative sushi dishes and edamame at Welina Terrace while watching the sunset. There were thoughtful touches in every room, including lovely room key bracelets to decrease waste at hotel, personal water filter stations in each room and little surprises each night (like local chocolates etc). The facilities including the pool, spa and gym are top notch. We stayed there in the winter which is theoretically the “off-season,” but it was wonderful, and we were so happy to have stayed there/in the north, where the landscapes are unparalleled. The location and hotel are magical. We can’t wait to come back.
