Relaxing and beautiful stay a few minutes from Porto center

Liked:Great place to stay outside of the busy center of Porto. The garden and views are great. Spa area was great. We ate at the gastronomic restaurant, dishes were well executed.

Disliked:We couldn’t use the outside swimming pool as it was not cleaned for the new season. The service for outside drinks was very slow and we had to chase the waiter. The dishes of the restaurant were good but could have varied more in test.

Liked:The room service breakfast was fantastic! Spacious room with incredible views, gorgeous bathtub facing the river view and a comfortable bed. The bar and Vinha Restaurant are absolute must-try's if you're staying here. A special thank you to Gabriela at the bar who entertained our immense curiosity for the world of mixology and attended to all our (slightly annoying) special requests :)

Disliked:There could have been more staff circulating the property throughout the day to check if guests want anything to drink for example.

Vinha Boutique Hotel, part of The Leading Hotels of the World, implements various operational practices to enhance its sustainability profile, including the use of solar panels for water heating and 100% LED lighting. The hotel also focuses on reducing plastic waste through bamboo room cards, wooden signage, and carefully selected amenities, alongside efficient thermal insulation and water purification systems. [Note: Practices reported but not independently verified.]

Most of the hot water heating is provided by solar panels, utilizing renewable energy to reduce consumption and carbon emissions. All lighting in the hotel is 100% LED, converting approximately 70% of consumed energy into light. In Porto, the external coating with Capoto provides high thermal and acoustic insulation, reducing thermal bridges and stabilizing interior temperatures. High-efficiency acoustic-thermal frames and glass are used throughout the hotel to allow for natural thermal control, reducing the need for air conditioning and energy consumption. Room access cards are made from bamboo, a natural, renewable, and biodegradable resource, and hotel signage is made of wood to reduce plastic use. Amenities are selected based on a policy of plastic elimination and waste reduction, including bamboo toothbrushes, paper and organic cotton swabs, organic material shower caps, and cardboard bags. Purified water from the EAU brand is available through a Safepath system with a copper line in Porto, eliminating transportation logistics and significantly reducing CO₂ emissions and disposable plastic use. Cleaning products from the SURE range, which are 100% biodegradable and plant-based, are used in Porto, with cleaning done using damp mops and eco-pump systems for controlled dosage, reducing waste and plastic consumption through refill systems
