Great stay in Porto

Liked:Location, space, ability to cook, privacy.

Disliked:Leaking shower and limited kitchen utensils. An oven dish and serving cutlery would add value.

Terrible experience lovely city

Disliked:The day before arrival we were informed that the apartment was dealing with damage to the roof so offered us an alternative which we had to take because of the very last minute nature. This was located 1km away from where we booked and away from the center. The apartment had no heating except for a tiny heater in the bedroom. During the evening it was 9 degrees in the apartment which was less than ideal with a very young child. We informed them this was a problem and asked for heaters but informed that unfortunately all of their heaters were being used in their other apartments. We suffered another night of having to wear coats indoors. There were also a list of broken and damaged parts in the apartment including broken door knobs, skirting boards and safa which I contacted booking.com about. Eventually at the end of day 3 they delivered a stand alone heater. I requested a call from their head office which they didn't do and offered 20% off our first 2 nights and that's all they will do. I've had to pursue by other means to obtain a refund.
