So Much Better Than a Traditional Hotel

Liked:We came into town for a week so our son could attend a basketball camp. The property was located within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit and the apartment was immaculate. Everything we might need was accounted for and more. Our two kids and us (my wife and I) had a two bedroom that was more than roomy enough and had us feeling right at home. Staff is great, especially Spencer who checked us in. I don’t know if I need to return to Portland, but this is where I will stay if I do.

An unanticipated date with Chewbaca

Liked:The Docent needs to ensure rooms are cleaned before new guests check in at nearly $400 a night. There’s no excuse for not getting previous guests’ body hair out of showers before new guests need to use it. The only thing more alarming than that experience was the how nonchalant the booking office was when I reached someone to let them know.

Liked:Outstanding stay. Beautiful loft with water views, very peaceful and comfortable. Excellent location in the Old Port. The staff - Spencer A and Hannah, were very helpful and pleasant to communicate with. We'll return.

Urban living in Portland

Liked:The Docent collection lofts are perfectly located in the Old Port section of Portland. There is parking right behind the building. The staff is very helpful. The lofts are beautifully furnished and have high end appliances. We will definitely be back!
