Liked:We discovered this place in 2016, when it had felt both affordable and inviting--especially the pools and the food and bar service there. We miss those pre-pandemic days, but appreciate the lovely outdoor pool area in particular--clean, spacious, pretty, good/fair accessibility for people with physical disabilities--even without the food and drinks. Friendly front-desk staff, lots of workers throughout the large property, good soundproofing. But--imagine our surprise when our room that was advertised to sleep four had only one king-sized bed! The staff seemed sympathetic and changed our room, but communication with the management felt uneven. I had wanted a mobility-accessible room so that I could shower, but there are no rooms of this type that sleep more than two adults (in one bed), it seems, despite advertising to the contrary. (They brought me a shower bench at my request, though.) In addition, the multiple doors throughout the hotel are hard to maneuver independently, in the absence of automatic door openers, except at the hotel entrance. Despite these challenges I still like this hotel, and I hope things can be improved in the future. (And here's hoping the great restaurant and bar can return some day in the future!?)
