Liked:The location is beautiful. Located right on the shores of Lake Joseph. All rooms in the property are lake facing. Room was spacious and equipped with a small refridgerator. Bathroom was clean and houskeeping and room service staff were great at their job. We did not dine in the restaurant because the options werent too exciting for my Indian palette. But its a serene property with lovely views.

Disliked:Beds and pillows were not comfy. The AC had an issue and wouldnt cool the room. The property is not accessible for older people. My 65 year old fit mum found it extremely difficult to climb the steps to the third floor where our room was and the reception staff couldnt do much to help us here. Parking is also an issue. We visited on the Thanksgiving weekend and there was no parking left for us on one of.the days. We had to wait for some time to park.

Would I come here again? - 100%

Liked:location - it was amazing. we went to experience fall colours and the Inn itself was quite in a picturesque location

Disliked:food might be a tad bit pricy, and also you don't have a ton of other options in and around. nonetheless, the food is good

Warm staff, wonderful stay

Liked:The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. They went out of their way to help with anything we needed, and their warmth truly made our stay special. The location is fantastic, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and breakfast was a lovely way to start each day. We liked the food in both restaurants.

Disliked:Just that one of the rooms did not have an operating heating system, so we were given a small device to warm up the room. In the other room, the temperature was perfect.

Lovely lake and setting! hotel could use a refresh

Liked:Beautiful setting, very peaceful and feels secluded. The beach and lake are gorgeous and loved the water sports and the fact they’re included in the price. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and nice.

Disliked:Overall I would say the rooms and the property are a little run down. As soon as you walk in to the reception area all the leaflets with different excursions etc are a mess, not the best first impression. The staff didn’t mention that bottled water at the bar was free and didn’t share how to use the bikes until we asked. The breakfast really wasn’t great either - I’d definitely recommend skipping and going somewhere in Bala or Port Carling instead.
