Spectacular scenery and rustic charm and a great base for cyclists (e-bikes recommended!)

Liked:The most spectacular view from the sunroom over Loch Linhe and the peace and quiet. Everything you need for a very comfortable stay is in the cottage.

Disliked:Having to leave!

Beautiful view in a peaceful location, excellent for watching wildlife.

Liked:Stunning view from the sunroom across the loch. We watched seals and a variety of birds. Spacious accommodation. Very well provisioned. Close to a well stocked village shop and a hotel with restaurant and bar. Walking distance to the Lismore Ferry.

Disliked:It was all good.

We loved staying in the Old Ferryhouse and hope to return.

Liked:Location is very special, right on the seashore, with wonderful views across the water from sunroom. Comfortable, cosy cottage with great character. In the heart of the village of Port Appin, close to shop and Pier House Hotel, where the food is exceptional, and only a stones throw from the Lismore Ferry. But it was quiet and private in the house and the garden.
