OK for a night, but highway noise, lights, lack of USB ports were issues

Liked:The room itself was typical and fine. Our biggest complaints were that the back of the building is only about 30 feet from a highway on ramp, so we got a little bit of highway noise, and there’s also a light shining on the building’s south side. Our room had no USB ports, and existing electrical outlets were few, hard to access, and the desk was not placed where you could easily get to an outlet. There was also no elevator, and we got a second-floor room.

Liked:The staff were very kind, friendly,and professional. The room was modern, minimalistic, clean, with all the amenities. Could use some cosmetic touch ups like caulking and new trim work but I believe they are working on it as it used to be a motel 6 recently bought out . . . I think. The price was very budget friendly and we appreciated that as we like to spend our money on other things during a trip.

Disliked:The pool was not available/open. But I believe they were having some work done on it so not a big deal.

Construction hell

Liked:I stayed here for three days during a conference. And boy was that a bad choice. They are tearing up the cloverleaf on 270 literally 20ft from the hotel. And they are working 24/7. If you love construction equipment and don’t need a lot of sleep this is your place. Feel your bed vibrate at midnight as they break up the concrete. Wave to the excavator at 2am as it drops tons of broken concrete into a stream of dump trucks (bang!). And at 4am dance to the beat of the back up horn on the bulldozer as it drives back and forth past your window. There should definitely be a construction notice on the hotels booking page but alas, there is not. Heed my warning. The staff were friendly and the room, while minimalistic, was fine. It would have been a good budget stay if not for the construction hell.
