Horrible

Liked:It was like a nightmare, smelled really bad and was really hot even with the AC. We couldn’t sleep because something kept playing a melody from our wardrobe. We also had trouble finding our room because the numbers was much smaller than the others. Not clean at all everything felt like it was covered in dust. Don’t recommend at all.

Friendly family interesting comfy hotel, great value.

Liked:Stayed here a night before and a night after a short small boat cruise out of Marina Zea, Piraeus near Athens. Great access to the Zea 3 minutes by taxi or 5 by bus. Short stroll to Mikro Limona small port with loads of tavernas/ fish/ steak restaurants all good food and value. Eclectic mix of traditional furnishings in the hotel and very friendly staff. Great value with everything very clean if not the most modern. Sea views and a great supermarket a few steps away. Highly recommended by Johnny and Donna

Good location

Liked:We had a few rooms as we had all come to watch the Greece v England game. Some of us had better views than others. The lucky ones had balconies with stunning views across the marina. The location is great, peaceful surroundings with a convenient supermarket next door and walkable to nice restaurants and bars. Also easy to get into the centre of Athens. Breakfast is included, pretty basic but does the job. Would recommend as a budget hotel for the area.

Very, Very Bad Place to stay

Liked:The only thing this hotel had going for it was it's Location & the View of the Mediterranean, the beds where hard as rocks it would have been easier and softer to have slept on Marble, the include breakfast was one of the worst that i have ever come across i wouldn't even feed it to my dog no fried eggs, or sliced fruits or mushroom, breakfast sausage ect, the shower would have had to have been one of the smallest i have ever come across with the shower curtain constantly attacking me as i tried to shower as there is no room, no coffee tea facility within the room it self the fridge had nothing in it, no bottle's of water it was just a fridge and it was old from the 1980's and it looked like it hadn't been de-frosted in years and the door kept falling off every time you tried to open it, the hotel it not fully air-conditioned the lifts small and stuffy and the decor is from the 1930's bad taste, you couldn't even sit on the terrace from our room as there was no shade from the sun and the sliding door from my room could not be locked, the cleaning lady that service our room daily was one of the only other things that was nice as she looked after us and she should be paid 10 x what she earns she is and asset, I has a two week stay at the Cavodoro as i needed an air-conditioned room to recover from an illness so i could get myself well enough to be able to fly home to Australia, this building and hotel should be condemned and i wouldn't recommend this place to any one as i also paid far to much for the 14 days (almost (E) 1,232.01 euro what a rip-off.
