Pension Pare - A Hidden Gem in Paradise

Liked:Pension Pare is a hidden gem. It is very affordable and located close to everything you need. It is 10 minute walk to the beach and the food trucks and easy for pickup and drop off for taxis and excursions. Louis is very helpful and he made my check-in and stay very enjoyable. He dropped me off to the airport at 4 in the morning for my flight to return home. I was a solo traveler and always felt safe and welcomed. The breakfast with fresh fruits, juice, and pastries was delicious. I would recommend Pension Pare to anyone looking for a safe and comfortable place to stay in Tahiti.

Liked:Host was super friendly and helpful. Kindly offered us a late afternoon shower, long after we checked out, after a day of activity and before heading to the airport.

Disliked:Not fond of sharing a bathroom. Distance from city center.

Very friendly host, clean and comfortable.

Liked:Responsive host. Louis, who greeted us, was very welcoming and kind. The rooms are bare-bones (no chairs or table) but comfortable. The grounds are very nice, with a pool (which we didn’t use). We just used it as a stopover so we didn’t explore the area and can’t really judge the location.

Disliked:The fact that the rooms don’t have chairs or a table (at least not the one we had)
