For one night okay

Liked:Staff very nice. Very close to the beach and many restaurants that are walkable during the day only as the tie goes up and it is not possible to walk on the beach and streets are extremely dark. Room spacious.

Disliked:It is not clear that all room facilities are dependent on power outages. In description it only says that WiFi might be down but I did not expect for the whole electricity to be down (light, fan, air condo, hot water,etc) as they do not have a generator. We booked what said “sea view” and it is a lie as you do not even see the beach nor the sea from the room. I would suggest better curtains for more privacy.

Would definitely recommend this place.

Liked:The location was perfect, right beside the Rock Restaurant with great access to the beach. However google maps has in the wrong place so my taxi driver had trouble finding it, the owner could update/correct this? Spacious clean room with lovely decor.

Disliked:Only a dribble of water out of the shower, but that seems to be the norm in Zanzibar. I'm not sure it's under the control of the property.

Nice simple place

Liked:It was across from the Rocky restaurant

Disliked:When I got there it was busy with lots of taxi drivers. Later it was more calmer. I wish I knew about how to turn the lights on and ac. I reached out and they helped me out. The water takes a long time to get hot and won't last long. The water from the faucet was brown when I first turned on. The room is pleasant. No breakfast included but they offer a kitchen. since I was there for one night and did not know where the suppermarket was this was not relevant for me.
