Fall long weekend, good location. Close to sandbanks provincial park and lake on the mountain

Liked:Right on the water. The BBQ was perfect. It does need new burners and plates. The staff member we met was so very nice and helpful. She was great.

Disliked:The toilets were clean and the sinks and floors were in good shape. For me it’s the cobwebs inside. Take a swiffer duster around the edges and corners. I know it’s a rustic cottage feel but same with outside…spray it down or sweep away the big spider webs near doors and windows.

Bring sheets, or check under bed

Liked:Simple and functional with a good view of the bay.

Disliked:Slightly unusual (we thought) practice of not having sheets placed on the bed (though there are linens in kitchen and bathroom). The sheets are stored in a tote under the bed, and/or guests bring their own. Don't recall seeing any notice of this. We didn't understand this and we got thru the first night without sheets! Otherwise fine.

Beautiful location, friendly hosts

Liked:Beautiful location, friendly people, good facilities. Jennifer and Kevin gave us an upgrade and they were very personable

Disliked:The only observation would be that the floor in one of the bedroom's and the kitchen wasn't completely clean. The rest - the cupboards, the dinner and cookware and the bathroom were good

Good location but bad stays.

Liked:The layout of room and bathroom is good. However, it is not two bathrooms, which is different from bookings descriptions.

Disliked:The room smell is terrible！ A lot spiders and spider webs. Room is not clean.
