I slept there for 7 hours, got ready and left

Disliked:The staff were on strike and this was not conveyed when I made this reservation. They were restricting access to the property. The first time in took 45 minutes. The second time I waited for 2 1/2 hours. After traveling all day, being in arenas, it was a very long 18 hour day. I have health issues and the delays were not safe for me me or the people out there

The Hotel should have closed or offered a steep discount for guests that were staying due to the workers strike, no serv

Liked:The managers covering front desk were kind and sympathetic however guests should be compensated for the lack of services including housekeeping , restricted access to enter the property and zero amenities. We drove 80 minutes to the property and waited another 35 to enter the premises.

Disliked:There were no services or open amenities to enjoy.

Highly overpriced hotel not worth staying

Liked:Lobby area is nice. Other than that, nothing was special. Luckily we secured the last limited parking spot in front of the hotel entrance. Otherwise you need to walk a long distance from the allocated parking area away from the entrance.

Disliked:Highly overpriced hotel, probably suitable only for gamblers. If you are an ordinary visitor/traveler looking for a good hotel in that area, there are good hotels with similar or better facilities available for a much more reasonable price in Ajax (even with breakfast). For two people we paid a highly ridiculous amount ($380) just for the room for one night's stay WITHOUT breakfast. We stayed there just because of an evening event at their arena.
