Disliked:Rooms need a bit of upgrading; no safe in room, no grab bars in bathroom Theresa at front desk just lovely, and extremely helpful

A little slice of paradise

Liked:We totally enjoyed our three night stay in July. The location of the hotel on Little Traverse Bay is just spectacular. Add in the beautiful landscaping and you will feel like you have escaped to a little slice of paradise! We experienced excellent customer service during our stay, from the sweet treats at the pool to the kind servers at the breakfast buffet. We hope to return next summer!

Masterclass in customer service

Liked:We had a little hiccup at check-in, but Carter provided the type of customer service you rarely see these days. He was polite and empathetic while providing a solution. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. There are so many small details that make the stay fantastic. The fitness center is nice. The hot tub and pool are great as well with ample chairs and towels. There is even a sandy beach area by the lake, which you can swim in during the summer. We are already planning our next stay thanks to a wonderful experience.

Order the Apple Brown Betty!!

Liked:We did not stay here but ordered dessert and ate it on the back porch facing the lake. Enjoyed beautiful sunset views. The Apple Brown Betty was fantastic.
