A perfect, relaxed beach stay!

Liked:The rooms are lovely and spacious with good air conditioning. The facilities were great - a stunning large pool, gym and spa. The beach is lovely with spaces to sit and lounge. The staff were very attentive. The food was also a highlight - evening buffets and breakfasts were delicious with a good range of options.

Disliked:We hadn’t realised the bathroom on our suite was outdoors (our fault for not reading the small print) which made the bathroom less comfortable to use (was very warm).

Liked:The staff was absolutely lovely.

Disliked:The hotel is located on the worse side of Pasikudah beach. Dead corals and shallow waters so you need sandals to go into the water. this totally spoiled the experience. We walked 10+ minutes every day to go to a better beach. The room was pretty but the hotel lacks in many ways and is not 5 stars at all - the pool is way too hot, the food at the buffet is really not tasty (we recommend the downstairs restaurant), we did not quite like the outdoor bathrooms - works in the Maldives but not so much in Sri Lanka. We shortened our stay to change hotel with no possibility of partial refund so it was a very costly mistake.
