Tired walls, comfy bed, fair deal

Liked:Booked last minute for the Céline Dion concert, at a price that's a Schnäppchen by Paris standards. The pictures and reviews had me expecting "one night only" quality, and that's about what the lobby looked like: not dirty, just a place that's seen some years. The room was small but had everything we needed, was clean, and the bed was comfy. A fresh coat of paint on the walls would lift both the room and the common areas a lot. The staff were pleasant, the metro is close, and the neighbourhood is nice. We got what we paid for, which in Paris is a compliment.

Liked:Was it a 7.3? No but the location and the bed were of such a standard to overlook the death trap stairs and comically poor shower.

Disliked:I think my likes say all that needs to be said😬

Small and uncomfortable, but easy and exactly what we needed

Liked:The location was brilliant, across the road was a shop open at 1am to buy snacks and wine. It took 2 minutes to walk to Voltaire metro station. The staff were kind and informative. There was a window overlooking the street

Disliked:The bathrooms fan didn’t work. There was a bed, and standing room beside it, and not much else. The room served its purpose, but did little more. It was overrun, tired and hot.

It's basically a hostel and you get what you pay for. Cheap and does the job.

Liked:Good location with plenty of shops and restaurants around. Located near a metro station. Room had a bed, shower and toilet, microwave and fridge.

Disliked:Room was unclean. Hair everywhere including on the sheets and sink. Toilet was in a cupboard making it hard to use. Very glad we paid for a bathroom and shower in our room. No crockery for the microwave or fridge so couldn't use it. Bed was ok and the room very warm. Fridge made a loud hum all night.
