5 star location - 2 star service

Liked:The Hotel Montaigne is located right in the heart of an amazing shopping district. We had a Jr. Suite that was very comfortable. The problem was the staff was just not up to par. Getting drinks at the bar required multiple requests. We gave up on getting a check and finally just went to the front desk and told them to charge our room. When you're paying the crazy prices they charge ($30 per standard cocktail), I expect service perfection.

Gem of a hotel!

Liked:This Paris hotel is a gem! - Fantastic location, wonderful neighborhood, and fabulous boutique hotel. The hotel is completely up-to-date with modem, but stylish details. The room decor is the equivalent of a stateroom on a 100 foot plus yacht. Every detail has been well thought out. The bathroom is huge (by Paris standards) with a tub and separate shower - It was gorgeous with its beautiful creamy neutral onyx slab walls and black granite floors. There is also a quaint bar and restaurant that are very lively every evening. I have stayed at the top hotels in Paris, but will definitely return to the Hotel Montaigne next trip. I highly suggest this hotel for a single or couple looking for a small stylish hotel in Paris.

Great location in the center

Liked:Wow what a great hotel located in the best area in Paris 10 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower and the champs élysées . The hotel is very modern, clean and has all the ammeneties needed. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. The staff are very helpful and eager to do anything to make your stay comfortable. I will recommend this hotel to all.
