Ageing hotel and staff, only surviving thanks to its prime location

Liked:location of the hotel, very central; upgraded to a high floor with small terrace with table and chairs (which is always nice)

Disliked:front office/ check-in staff very inefficient, cleanliness of rooms debatable, no amenities, no water bottles or alternatives (awkward response given being delivery did not happen today - 3 days in a row!), rooms are small with very old furniture (except the beds), phonic insulation very poor (could hear the phone conversation of adjacent room...), etc.
