Loving it here!

Liked:A group of friends and I are currently staying at the Waldorf Astoria. No one has had any complaints with their rooms. Staff at this hotel has been outstanding. We just finished having lunch and drinks at the pool bar after attending a tour and Camilo is amazing. Carlos at front desk checked us in yesterday and he was also amazing.. I spoke with him a day prior to our arrival and he made an afternoon tea reservation for the day of our arrival. I’ve had afternoon tea here three times and this was the best one. I loved the addition of the pineapple cake. This place has excellent customer service. The lady at the concierge is very friendly too, and has a wealth of knowledge. For some reason her name just left me, but I didn’t want to not mention her too. A trifecta of amazing staff. Everyone agreed we will stay here again.

Soak up the city from the Waldorf!

Liked:The staff is top notch! We were well taken care of. Nicolas was a joy to talk to as well as an excellent server. Trust the concierges… they are determined to make your trip even better. We enjoyed the hotel and the location, too! We could see the shops lining up for the canal and walk to good restaurants.

Staff Make the Stay!

Liked:The Waldorf Astoria Hotel lived up to its excellent reputation. Our room was quiet, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities. We especially enjoyed the morning buffet which featured a wide selection of perfectly cooked Panamanian dishes. The hotel was well situated in the city and an easy walk or Uber to all major attractions and dining options. However, the strength of this hotel lay especially in the excellence of its staff, from the greeting received at the entrance to the cold drinks provided upon arrival to the careful attention of the housekeeping staff. On one occasion I asked the front desk staff to send a bucket of ice to our room, and the request was met almost faster than I could get back to my room! The concierge, Lille, was informative and engaging and made reservations for us both at local attractions and restaurants. Nicolas and Camilo (bar and wait staff) made us feel like we were members of their family. Of special note was Nicolas' warmth and willingness to help with my attempt to master the Spanish language. It is these types of individual contacts with people such as Nicolas that turn a hotel into a home away from home. We would definitely stay again in the future.
