Disappointing with a fraction of the services and features available

Liked:Location great. Reception staff helpful.

Disliked:Breakfast staff unwilling to ask chef to cook two poached eggs on request, firmly stating ONLY what is at the buffet. Outside Breakfast /courtyard area was INHOSPITABLE with a new bar not working and building materials in place. No working bar or in- house restaurant which was CLOSED DUE TO OTHER ISSUES??. Courtyard not properly functional for guests as no service for outside. Photos provided by Booking.com ONLY showed the bedroom and not the incomplete inner courtyard due to complications installing their bar down to the age of the property apparently. Price paid should have included these features that we were very much looking forward having researched the hotel from a separate source beforehand so I feel we were cheated of a full experience and Booking.com should check that hotels are fully operative before promotion and MAKE THIS CLEAR Also beach mainly obscured nearby due to a huge luxury yacht show over the May holiday weekend which meant the beach was screened off for a large portion of the neighbouring area to exclusive clients.

Rooftop lunch perfection!

Liked:Did not stay at the hotel (it looks charming!) but had a delightful and delicious pre-fixe lunch (including a glass of vino) high above the hustle and bustle. Three lovely courses, beautifully prepared with great service. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great little central hotel for a short stay - recommended

Liked:Central hotel, staff very helpful on reception. Lovely building. Good size room. Quiet.

Disliked:There was some black mould around the shower. The air con didn’t work, we asked reception the following day and they came and fixed it straight away - it had been set incorrectly. Two TVs and one didn’t work at all (to watch the news in bed) we mentioned to reception but it didn’t get fixed. At breakfast no one around to help, we wandered about not know where anything was. We had to find staff to ask for a few things. Be warned the breakfast is offered until 11am which sounds amazing but when they run out of food they do not replenish. We went down at 3 different times earlier and later and found the same thing each day. Once the egg or sausages etc had gone that was it! My husband burned his hand badly at breakfast whilst trying to get something out of the hot trays using tiny tweezers - we did not report this and we should have, his hand is red raw!
