luxury in the sun without an extortionate pricetag.

Liked:it is a lovely hotel dont be put off by the name, you do not need to be sporty. Situated directly in the marina there is always something going on, boats in and out, people canoeing etc, but when the door to your room is closed there isn't any noise. the beds are comfortable, the staff couldnt be any more helpful and the restaurant upstairs on the terrace is delightful. Modern and comfortable seating and the breakfasts are exceptional. Oerall a jolly good all rounder.

Disliked:nothing

Liked:Was close to the beach and shops. Hired a car so was convenient to get to everything.

Disliked:1) Considering I paid close to £900 to stay for 4 days, parking could have been free. There was always plenty of parking available. Charging an extra €48 to park seemed a bit off. 2) I appreciate hotels more often provide minibars but this didn't really keep anything cold and no way to adjust the temperature. 3) No ventilation in the bathroom so after a 2 minute shower, the entire place is full of steam. 4) No communication beforehand from the hotel that breakfast tickets would be required for the breakfast I'd already pre-paid for. Resulted in me wandering around looking for someone to help me. 5) Cleaning of the rooms between days was inconsistent. Sometimes the sheets were changed, sometimes not. I only realised this after finding my girlfriend's hair still in the bed. Now given it was 35 degrees plus outside and even with air-conditioning you sweat a bit at night, for the prices I would have expected the sheets and pillow cases to be changed daily.
