it was overall a good stay the tropical atmosphere draws you in and for me it makes me want to come

Liked:the beach was amazing. the ease of getting around the property was good.

Disliked:the pillows was too soft which made the bed seem uncomfortable, which made my back hurt each morning I got up.

Stay away from the Hilton Casino

Liked:The Hilton staff is wonderful in Aruba. You won’t find a warmer group of people to assist you during your daily activities. However, for relaxation and peacefulness it does fall somewhat short because of the amount of children that are at this facility. If you’re looking for entertainment, I would suggest did you go elsewhere as the casino is very subpar and although the dealers are nice management is questionable with their professionalism.

High price for moderate accommodations

Liked:Positives: - location - directly across the street from nice restaurants and shops - beach was clean, quiet and easy to access - room was quiet and comfortable - beautiful guest shop and nice cafe/market for coffee, pastries, gelato and snacks, etc. Negatives: - Overpriced for the amenities offered - no robe; slippers or toiletries. Still not sure what the resort fee was for. - one of the two pools was closed and the workout center was closed for two of my four day stay - Kids everywhere! Since there was only one pool available, it was full of kids playing with water toys and floaties - You have to claim your pool chair no later than 7:30/ 8am or you’ll be out of luck with no where to sit. - Food was below average and pricey. A burger, fish tacos, appetizer spring rolls and one cocktail was $98 w/ tip. Steak nachos at the pool…$28. Much better food options off site. Overall it was ok…but for almost $1k per night and the Hilton brand, I would’ve liked better food and more amenities. -

9th Visit to Aruba

Liked:My wife and I recently had our 9th visit to Aruba. We stayed in the Hilton once again as we enjoy the resort and beach area. As usual, the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a wonderful dinner at the Sunset Grille restaurant. This was our first visit since the hotel had completed most of its renovations. All of the restaurant and bar upgrades were very nice! The location of the hotel is perfect with access to a very nice section of the beach, as well as a lot of restaurants and shops across the street. Our only complaint was relative to the beach area. The hotel reconfigured their Palapas so that they are much closer together than before. This would not be so bad except that they also eliminated their rule about wearing ear buds or head phones for music. With the Palapas closer together, more people on the beach, and now no controls on people playing their music loudly, we found it to be less relaxing than before. We had a group on at least 2 days while we were there who played their music very loudly. Considering they were sitting a row behind us, it really detracted from the previously peaceful environment. If you're going to pack people into tighter conditions, it would be better to have controls on noise so guests aren't subjected to music they don't want to hear. Otherwise, we had a very enjoyable visit!
