Liked:Cute historic hotel, great location, no real beach access during our stay, expensive for this property, nice staff, good coffee in the morning. 100 year hotel with charm, excellent location in a cool old Hawaiian town

Disliked:It was cute and nice people but expensive even for Hawaii especially without and direct beach accessibility

Claustrophobic and uncomfortable.

Liked:The location was ideal and the reason we booked here.

Disliked:The room was so small that it was impossible to open a suitcase in the room unless it was on top of the bed. The bathroom was so small and there was no sink inside the bathroom. The bathroom sink was beside the bed and there was no bedside table on that side. The rooms are not soundproof at all so expect to be woken up all night.

Great location for exploring Paia!

Liked:Right in the middle of town - easy walking access to shops and restaurants. Cozy common areas spread throughout the hotel. Loungers in the back (on grass) near the beach. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Disliked:Partygoers from the nightclub next door were loud after the club closed on a Friday night (quiet on a Saturday night and on a Sunday night). Although the property is a beach-front property, you don’t really actually see the beach from the property unless you look over a set of bushes. The loungers in the back of the property are on grass and not sand.

Liked:The location was everything. I loved the back garden overlooking the ocean. As a solo traveler I felt safe and comfortable.

Disliked:It just felt like it had seen better days. The Wi-Fi went out for almost 2 days. It was sad to see their cafe not in business. And for what I paid to stay, I did not feel like it was worth the money.
