Liked:Such a cool retreat. The location is away from the hectic, busy streets of Bali so it feels quite tranquil. The Nasi Goreng I had at the restaurant was the best I had in Bali.

Peaceful hidden gem and great value for money

Liked:We really enjoyed our stay and felt this property was a bit of a hidden gem. The location was excellent — tucked away just outside Padangbai, making it a convenient and peaceful base before or after using the ferry port. Our room was enormous, beautifully appointed, and very comfortable. The grounds were lovely, and overall the property offered great value for money.

Disliked:The only reason we haven't given a full 5 stars is due to a couple of maintenance issues. We found what appeared to be a significant amount of rat droppings in the room, which was disappointing and impacted our comfort. We also found the water had a very strong sulphur smell. While this may be due to the local water source, it left us feeling as though the water wasn't particularly clean for showering. Aside from these issues, we had a pleasant stay and can see why others enjoy this property. With a little more attention to these areas, it would be an outstanding place to stay.
