Liked:Great location.

Disliked:The sliding glass doors were the only way to get air flow into the room so we had to leave the screen open and unlocked. Our room 102 was right by the stairs so you could hear people walking up and down in the early morning. We could also hear someone vacuuming the room above us at around 8 am.

The location was nice, walking distance to the beach, and in a very quaint area, but the room itself was misleading and

Liked:Very cute location and good proximity to the beach

Disliked:Our room had no real privacy. The only window was a sliding glass door facing the hallway, right in front of the stairs, so people were constantly walking by. Even with the blinds closed, it still did not feel fully private. We also had no natural light unless we opened the blinds completely, which meant giving up what little privacy we had. This felt very misleading because the photos shown at booking featured a room with a balcony, natural light, and a much more private setup. The room we were given did not match what was advertised. I asked to change rooms, but they said they were fully booked, so we had no other option during our stay.

quiet little hotel near monterey with complitary parking n breakfast

Liked:location was good price was ok clean sheets clean bathroom cable tv complimentary boxed breakfast pastries, coffee n tea were nice.

Disliked:the motel is very dated. needs a major facelift inside and out. rooms smelled a lil musty from possibly mold or humidity but it smelled damp. u can hear the upstairs guests moving around

Would not stay here again.

Liked:I liked that it was located in Pacific Grove, and that it was clean. I liked that when we had to call for a plunger at 4am for the dinky toilet, they were there within 10 minutes.

Disliked:What I did not like: the toilet was "child size", low to the ground, and had very bad water flow & required a plunger to function; the parking is HORRIBLE - there are not enough spots for the amount of rooms and you have to find your own parking on the adjacent residential streets; the front door was a sliding glass door that was very difficult to pull back and forth; they do not clean your room in the daytime while you're away. A note in the rooms states they don't clean daily because of COVID (that happened 5 years ago??); the room is tiny & barely contained the 2 queen beds; you can hear ALL the noises with the wooden stairs around the complex & the thin floors; the "breakfast" is a box with a croissant, cheese, and a cookie; there are slants and hills, and lots of stairs - not friendly if you are disabled or challenges getting around; the staff are not mean or anything like that, but they are not gracious or welcoming.
