Best Resort in Orlando

Liked:We arrived quite early on Saturday and were pleasantly shocked to be able to check in at 10am without prior request. Rooms was spacious and clean with updated amenities. Pool.was huge with amazing lazy River and restaurants were fabulous. 10/10

Terrible view feels like I’m trapped

Liked:This was my first stay at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes Orlando, and I have to say I was very disappointed with the room assignment. I did not pay extra for a premium view, but I certainly did not expect my window to overlook a large air-conditioning area. For a resort of this caliber and price range, the view was surprisingly poor. The hotel itself is beautiful, but looking out at industrial equipment instead of something more pleasant definitely took away from the experience. Even guests who don’t pay for the “best view” should not feel like they are staying behind the scenes of the resort. I expected much more from a luxury property like the JW Marriott and hope the hotel will reconsider assigning rooms with these views to first-time guests.
