Great, SUPER Clean Resort!

Liked:We just got back from a week in Orlando for my daughter's dance competition and we stayed at the Hilton Las Palmeras. Our stay was wonderful! The staff was great... every staff member we encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel is SUPER clean, from the lobby to the pool area to the rooms. I was very impressed with the cleanliness. The resort itself is on the smaller side (compared to a large resort like the Hyatt Regency nearby), but I appreciated that because it was quiet and peaceful. The restaurant "The Lobby" was great - great service, great food. The pool bar is nice and a nice thing to have while lounging poolside! There were daily activities for the kids, and afternoon snowcones and ice cream. Very family friendly resort. The hotel has valet, and self-parking in their garage. There is a very small walk to the parking garage but it is covered. The hotel is very close to EPIC, so every night we had an amazing view of the fireworks from the pool area, which was an added bonus! We had a lovely stay here and would definitely stay here again!

Great stay and very friendly staff

Liked:As a Hilton owner, I have been to Orlando numerous times and stayed at a lot of Hilton properties but this was my first stay at Las Palmeras. It was a great stay with friendly staff. I stayed in a studio in June for the AAU Volleyball championships and as a coach it was just me. The location couldn’t be beat and was literally a 6 minute walk door-to-door to the convention center (north/south halls). Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful! Special shoutout to Lorena from the activities team and also the concierge who helped call urgent cares for me when I got sick. The studio is larger than I expected but missed having a full fridge as ice was only on floors 2 and 7 so that was a pain but not relevant for other rooms. I am also used to laundry in the unit but no rooms have that here. My fridge wasn’t working and they replaced the fridge right away. It’s a very small property (one building) compared to other Hilton properties but very nice and well kept. There’s a parking garage if you have a car but not sure how much as an owner it was included. There was a splash pad playground type thing but I was only there in the morning so didn’t see it being used or maybe not open yet. I did find it odd that it said the pool wasn’t open until 8 whereas most places are 7. I only got to use it a couple mornings as we had afternoon wave. I was in room 923 and the view was of the convention center. The kitchen/bar counter was nice and the table and chairs inside was nice to sit at for meals and I loved having somewhere other than the bed to sit. The table and chairs outside on the balcony were nice. The bathroom vanity was pretty small so not much room but I’m used to a one bedroom. Yes, I would stay here again for the convenience of walking to the convention center but for vacation probably wouldn’t as like having more amenities and restaurants/ shops within walking distance. Staff was amazing
