Excellent Team Communication

Liked:We recently stayed for 2 nights with a large group consisting of 8 rooms, 16 adults, and 9 children, and I wanted to recognize the outstanding staff for making our stay seamless from beginning to end. Managing a group of this size is never easy, but the excellent coordination, communication, and teamwork among the staff made both check-in and check-out incredibly smooth and stress-free. Every team member we encountered was professional, accommodating, and genuinely committed to providing excellent customer service. Thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond to ensure our family and group had an enjoyable experience. Dirty Sheets, No Sleep, and Overcrowded Amenities

Liked:We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, but unfortunately, this most recent stay was extremely disappointing. Our room was not ready until over an hour after the 4:00 PM check-in time, which disrupted our evening plans right from the start. Later that night, after a long day, we were getting our two young children ready for bed when we noticed several large stains on the bed sheets. We called the front desk around 9:00 PM to request that the sheets be changed. After two additional calls and two trips to the front desk, housekeeping finally arrived around 10:30 PM. By that point, our kids were exhausted and well past bedtime. We had booked one of the suites, and once we were finally settling in, we realized the bedroom shared a wall with the elevator. It sounded like a train passing by the room every few seconds. Unfortunately, we did not realize how loud it was until after our children were already asleep in the living room area, so moving rooms that night was not realistic. As a result, my husband and I got very little sleep. When I finally fell asleep around 2:00 AM, the alarm clock in the room went off at 5:30 AM. The hotel did move us to another suite later that afternoon, which we appreciated, but having to pack up and move rooms during our stay was another major inconvenience. To make matters worse, the new room did not have enough pillows. We called around 6:00 PM to request more, but they did not arrive until approximately 10:40 PM after several follow-up calls. Then at 11:30, another pillow delivery arrived even though the pillows had already been brought to the room. I don’t fault the individual staff member, but it did highlight how disorganized the internal communication felt throughout the stay. The hotel was also hosting a large homeschooling conference during our stay, so I understand it may have been busier than usual. However, the pool area was complete chaos. The pool opened at 8:30 AM, and guests were already lining up before 8:00 AM just to get seats. By around 9:30 AM, it appeared that nearly all chairs were taken. The pools were extremely crowded, the lazy river and water playground both had to be shut down for cleaning, and the waterslides were closed at times because there were too many children. The waterslides were one of the main reasons we booked this hotel, so that was especially frustrating. Overall, this was a very poor experience. We spoke with several managers during our stay, and while they did try to address some of the issues, the resolution did not come close to making up for the amount of disruption, inconvenience, and lack of sleep we experienced. For the price of a suite at this hotel, we expected a much higher level of service, cleanliness, and overall guest experience.
