Absolutely exceeded my expectations!!!

Liked:Everything was perfect FOR ME!!! Number 1 as a single woman traveling alone I felt safe!!! Number 2 - I felt comfortable!!! Number 3 - I felt welcomed!!! I have stayed in the all inclusive resorts on Palm Beach, but I would pick Perle d’Or City Apartments again and again!!! I enjoyed the architecture, the pool, and the peacefulness of the property. Irma and Zulaika are absolutely the best!!! From My Personal Perspective this was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to stay there again!!! Everyone’s opinions are different but your time there will be what you make it so make it amazing!!! Also, the bedding was so comfortable I loved the white linen and blanket!!! The room was very spacious!!! The shower was nice and hot!!! Plenty of parking!!! So many cute spots for photo ops!!! There is so much hidden beauty in the place!!! Absolutely exceeded my expectations!!!

A Complete Nightmare – Avoid at All Costs

Liked:My husband and I had reservations at Perle d'Or City Apartments for the weekend, and what followed was the most frustrating and unprofessional hotel experience we have ever encountered. When we arrived, the gate was locked, and there was no one in sight to let us in. We called the provided phone number repeatedly, but no one answered. We also tried buzzing their Ring system multiple times, but again, no response. To make matters worse, another guest was already there waiting, having been stranded for 15-20 minutes before we arrived. He confirmed that no one had responded to his attempts to contact the hotel either. We waited for nearly an hour, trying every possible way to reach someone—anyone—from the hotel. Desperate, we even contacted Capital One (where we made the reservation) to see if they could help, but they also failed to get through to the hotel. The complete lack of communication and total disregard for guests were shocking. We had no choice but to book another stay elsewhere, wasting our time and money. When a taxi driver picked us up, they confirmed that this hotel has a terrible reputation and is "not good whatsoever." It’s clear that this is not an isolated incident but a pattern of negligence and poor management. There were no instructions provided at the time of booking, no emergency contact information, and absolutely no effort made to ensure guests could access the property. This level of incompetence is unacceptable for any business, let alone a hotel that takes reservations and payments in advance. Save yourself the headache and avoid Perle d'Or City Apartments at all costs. This was hands down the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had, and we will never consider staying here again. Zero stars if I could.

To be avoided under any circumstance

Liked:The photographs on the site are not only misleading they are fake. The furniture and fixtures shown do not exist. Something went terribly wrong with this property and it should not be promoted on sites like Trip Advisor without someone verifying the accuracy of the information. During our 10 day stay (we tried to relocate but couldn’t due to Carnival season) some people left after one night or refused to stay, there were sex workers operating out of room 4. No restaurant or any food service at all , no bar, infrequent room services due to only one employee on the property. The roof of the gazebo by the pool was collapsing. The interiors of the rooms were bare concrete floors and walls and dilapidated furniture. There was hot water only in the shower, the kitchenette and bathroom sinks had only cold water. This degree of deception should be criminal and I write this not only as a review but a condemnation of an industry that would expose unwary customers to an unacceptable experience.
