Liked:We stayed at Optimum Apartments for 3 nights in between travel. The proximity to the airport and train station was very important to us. We loved to have grocery stores and an Indian restaurant nearby. We stayed in the most basic room which had all we needed. We loved that there is a laundry room, a gym and a common area to cook and have dinner.

Disliked:The kitchen had only two small pans. It seems that people are keeping extra pans in their rooms or are stealing them. Maybe another system would be useful.

Last Resort – Not Recommended Unless You Have No Other Options Left

Liked:I had a very frustrating experience at this property and unfortunately cannot recommend it despite its convenient location. The Room: The most significant issue was the bathroom. The sliding toilet door was completely jammed and non-functional. Because it couldn't close, there was zero privacy; whenever my partner or I needed to use the facilities, the other person literally had to leave the entire hotel room. This is a basic fundamental of a hotel stay that was not met. Restaurant Service & Staff: Behavior: The service was deeply unsettling. The staff member on duty (a bearded gentleman) was incredibly rude and made me feel unwelcome. Most concerning were the subtle racist undertones in his behavior, specifically making disparaging comments about my accent. It is 2026; guests should be treated with basic respect regardless of where they are from. Dining time: The advertised information is misleading. Although the restaurant is listed as open until 00:00 on Fridays, I was denied food shortly after 10:00 PM. The staff member claimed he needed to clean the kitchen and refused to serve me. While I understand kitchen maintenance is necessary, the posted hours should reflect when service actually ends so guests can plan accordingly.

Disliked:The only saving grace is the location. It is easily accessible by train and situated fairly close to the main station, which makes commuting easy. Also, the apartment was clean.

Liked:The hotel was very well placed, near to train and tram station what makes us easier to arrive at zurich

Disliked:The attendance on restaurant/bar at the hotel , they served cold food , they didn't asked if we want something else or if we enjoy food , we waiting more than 40 mins to see if someone come to us , nobody , so we decide pay and leave

Liked:Convenient location

Disliked:Cleaning service from Optimum management only once every 2 weeks. I stayed for 28 days so....only cleaned once. Meanwhile cleaning service by Vision apartments management is once a week. Not flexible with check out time. I requested for a short extension - 11am instead of 10am, but not given. Instead i received a reply to extend it till 6 pm for an additional Chf 40 more. Very disappointed, since i stayed for almost a month and the facility was not full. Meanwhile check in is at 3 pm.
