Liked:The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed, the neighborhood was exceptional, restaurants were nearby. The host was responsive to our questions. It was relatively easy for us to commute to the event we were in Chicago for.

Don't touch that dial!

Liked:The location was great and the house immaculate. There was plenty of room for us.

Disliked:The air conditioning was set at 75 and we could not change it. (There was a sign next to the thermostat stating the cooling would come on once someone entered the house. When I tried to change the temperature, there was no way to do so.)While that was fine for the day, it was too warm for sleeping. I reached out to the owners FOUR times with no reply (once via text, once via email, and twice by calling and leaving messages). While I was not happy about not being able to change the thermostat to my liking, I was even more annoyed by their lack of response. I would not go there again.
