A very professional large hotel with friendly staff.

Liked:This is a larger hotel offering excellent facilities. It's probably geared around the conference/business market, but holiday guests, like us, were made to feel very welcome. We appreciated the friendly staff, particularly when they demonstrated their pride in their hotel and town. "You have only stayed with us one night...why?"

Disliked:Not the hotel's fault, but it is on the outskirts of the town so not exactly picturesque. However, this was not the point of our choice to stay there.

Disliked:I requested an invoice and after two weeks haven't received yet. No contact mail and no answer here in Booking. I cannot understand why I have to beg for my invoice!

Unprofessional reception and a disappointing management response

Disliked:We stayed at Seminaris Hotel Nürnberg on 1 September 2026 with our 3-year-old son. During check-in, he made some noise for a short time. The night receptionist raised her voice at us on three separate occasions, in a manner we found aggressive and disrespectful. We understand the need to keep noise down, especially at night, and would have had no issue with a polite request. Our complaint was about how we were spoken to. What made the experience worse was the management’s response to our written complaint. Instead of addressing the repeated raised voice, they reminded us that staff also expect respect and a quiet tone from guests. Their reply contained no apology, no acknowledgement of our specific concern, and no explanation of whether the incident had been investigated. Respect should work both ways. A hotel should be able to ask for quiet without making a family feel scolded and unwelcome. Based on our experience, I strongly advise families, especially those travelling with young children, against staying here. We would not stay here again.
