Disappointing

Liked:The room was a good size and was quiet. The bed was comfortable and bathroom adequate. The breakfast was good on the first morning.

Disliked:We stayed for two nights and thought it would be convenient to have evening meals in the hotel restaurant. The first evening our meals took 45 minutes to arrive. The second evening we were told there were no tables as they had two coach bookings, but we could sit at the bar, which we did but were then told the kitchen wasn't taking any orders, even for sandwiches. Breakfast the following morning was cold as the hotplates either weren't working or hadn't been turned on.

Liked:Breakfast was very good, evening meal was poor, went to a pub instead.

Disliked:Bedroom was in need of some work. The plugs in bath and washbasin were broken and shower mechanism was very stiff and had to be sorted out by the manager when we arrived. Hit and miss after that. Wardrobe door wouldn’t close.
