The owner is a sweetheart! She’s so welcoming and a great cook. This is also the cleanest place we have ever stayed!!

Private bed and bathroom in a hospitable family's home in a beautiful setting, with great breakfast.

Liked:The hosts were very kind, interesting, and easy to talk to. They have a very cool operation going on with the farm. The property and room were as advertised, and very nice. Clean and well-stocked. Great view. Breakfast was fantastic- local, natural ingredients, accommodating to food restrictions, delicious, and served well. I really enjoyed these aspects of my stay.
Disliked:It wasn't clear from the listing that this was someone's personal home. It was advertised more like a B&B or inn, and it was not run that way. This is their home, and the only separate part is the bedrooms/bathroom. They had many family members in and out and they were using the main areas, as you would in your own home. I thought that guests would have full access to the kitchen, dining, and lounge area at all times. I'm sure I was welcome to join them, but it would have been like I was in their space, working around whatever they were doing (cooking, working remotely, watching TV). Each person was kind and welcoming, but it was not the experience I expected. I assumed that "shared space" meant with the other guests. I spent most of my time in my room or out somewhere. The price was high for this experience.
